Terms of use.
These terms apply to your use of xiongzhitao.me. By using the site you agree to them.
Personal capacity
This site is written by Dr Zhitao Xiong in a personal capacity. Views expressed are my own. Notes are dated and remain unchanged after publication; corrections are issued in a subsequent note rather than by editing the original.
Not advice
Nothing on this site constitutes legal, financial, accounting, audit, or regulatory advice. The writing references Australian regulators (APRA, ASIC, OAIC, DISR), prudential standards (CPS 220, CPS 230, CPS 234, CPS 510), and other regulatory artefacts. Those references are for the reader's information only. Always read the regulator's source document, and seek qualified advice before acting on anything you read here.
Accuracy
The writing is researched carefully but is not infallible. Errors will exist; please write to me@xiongzhitao.me with corrections and they will be acknowledged in a subsequent note. The site does not warrant that any specific note or report is current, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.
Reports
Reports are written as substantial pieces of work. The abridged version of each report is free to read in full on this site. The full PDF is sent by email to readers who request it through the form on each report page, after they confirm their email address. There is no charge. Reports are personal-use artefacts; please do not redistribute, host, or extract substantial portions without written permission. Internal use within the requesting reader's own organisation is fine.
Intellectual property
Copyright in the writing on this site is held by Dr Zhitao Xiong. Short quotations with attribution are welcome. For longer use, write first.
External links
Links to regulator publications, industry papers, and other writing are provided for the reader's convenience. I do not endorse and am not responsible for the content of external sites.
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute is to be resolved in the courts of New South Wales. The site is operated from Sydney, Australia.
Changes
I may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after changes means acceptance of the new terms.
